Issue summary

Hunchly captures of large Facebook timelines are missing content; this appears as long stretches of nothing then posts near the bottom of the capture.

This is an intentional behavior on Facebook's part - Facebook hides posts once you scroll far enough past them.

Workaround

We recommend a couple of approaches for this:

Use the Take a Note function. This will force a manual screenshot of the viewport (what you see in your browser). You can line up the page the way you would like, then right click, choose Hunchly and Take note. This can help to stitch together the content you need to capture. You can combine this with manual captures to try to get it all.

Take note function

The other option is more technical and you will need to force your browser to act like a mobile device.

Open the Developer Console in your browser, you can right click and choose Inspect at the bottom of the menu, or on Windows press Ctrl-Shift-I. On macOS press Command + Option + I (⌘+⌥+I).

This will open the dev console. You want to open the Device Toolbar at the top right of the console:

Then you can choose what you want to have the browser act as, by clicking on the dimensions drop down:

Choose a device and then modify the url by putting m. in front of facebook.com to force the mobile page to load.

Now try to capture using Hunchly as normal. You can also close the devtools console at this time and it should remain in mobile mode until you reload or close the tab/browser.
